Commissioning Programme

Adelaide Festival commissions and champions Australia’s most innovative new work along with presenting the world’s greatest artists and performing arts creators. As an active participant in the Major Festivals Initiative, Adelaide Festival is one of the most significant commissioning forces in Australia.

Your contribution allows you access and insight into the decision making and creative development stages that go into producing a new work of scale. Support through the Commissioning Programme has the potential for multi-year commitment as works evolve from creative development through to the presentation stage.

Members of the Commissioning Programme keep company with our Artistic Director and Associate Director as they go through the commissioning process, gaining understanding and receiving updates about the Festival’s plans for future commissions.

Every contribution to the Commissioning Progamme is fully tax deductable.
