Led by iconoclasts from the global underground dance scene, expect an entrancing movement through eclectic samples, chaotic soundscapes and post-club euphoria. Hyperdub’s ‘anti format audio propagandist’ DJ Haram takes the helm, alongside Ngarrindjeri DJ SOVBLKPSSY and local dubstep evangelists SKORPION KING x Mr. John. Dim the lights and succumb to the witching hours under the streets of Adelaide.

Cutting a singular path through contemporary club music, DJ Haram fuses experimental bass, Jersey club, and Middle Eastern percussion into a sharply dynamic sound. Headlining Tryp’s late-night descent at DIVIDE, she presents a new live set shaped by her intense Hyperdub release Beside Myself. As one half of 700 Bliss with Moor Mother, Haram’s collaborations span Bbymutha, Billy Woods, Armand Hammer, Debby Friday and Fever Ray, with performances across global stages from Dekmantel to Roskilde.

Grounded in rhythm and resistance, Ngarrindjeri DJ and producer SOVBLKPSSY delivers a sonic intervention built on percussion-heavy club rhythms with a dose of musical nostalgia. Based on Gadigal and Wangal land, SOVBLKPSSY has solidified herself as a weapon behind the decks, known for delivering powerfully intimate club performances and mixes. Outside of the club, SOVBLKPSSY co-hosts Sunset with Dot Zip on the ever-excellent FBi Radio.

A symbiotic flurry of bass, wobble and love, Kaurna Yerta DJs SKORPION KING and Mr. John will close out the Tryp club night with a mix of deep bass and underground dubstep. Having built a name locally for their commanding presence behind the decks both independently and as a duo, the pair continue to fuel Adelaide’s late night party scene through their series of club events under the monikers Deeptank and Tiger Club. The perfect mix of hard party, demonic bass, and queer love, SKORPION KING and Mr. John are the perfect final touch to round out Tryp parts I and II.

Local emerging collective H34VEN0N34RTH will welcome audiences to Tryp II with a taste of Adelaide’s underground club culture. Featuring a collaborative set from founder know.clu and resident cherub woah.motion accompanied by live performance from Kaurna Ballroom founder Aki and others. A window into the city’s club culture, each collective brings their own unique interpretation of the dance floor to kick-start Friday’s late night club offering. The perfect transitional performance as we shift gear descending from Hindley St Music Hall into Divide.
